You'll prospect and close new shippers, quote and price freight, source and vet carriers, manage every load from tender to delivery, and keep customers coming back. Whether you've already built a book or you're early in your career with the drive to build one, this is a seat where your effort shows up directly in your earnings. What You'll Do You'll run every stage of the freight cycle yourself, from first call to final invoice. Win the business Prospect and close new shippers (manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and 3PL partners) through calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry events. Run discovery to learn each shipper's lanes, volumes, service needs, and pain points. Respond to spot quotes and RFPs with competitive, profitable pricing based on market data (DAT, Truckstop, or similar). Grow existing accounts by adding lanes, modes, and locations, including cross-selling USMMG Intermodal and Drayage.
