High Reach Forklift Operator
Bertolino Foods, Inc.POSITION SUMMARY
Bertolino Foods is looking for an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse & Transportation team at our Peabody, MA facility. You'll keep product moving through our cooler and freezer racking by putting away, dropping down, and rotating full pallets, while keeping production lines and selectors supplied and helping load and unload trailers.

Operate a high-reach forklift as your primary equipment, with order picker use as needed
• Put away, drop down, and rotate pallets following FIFO
• Supply production lines and selectors, and move finished product into storage
• Load and unload trailers, using RF scanners to record every move accurately
• Complete daily equipment inspections and follow OSHA, GMP, and food safety procedures
• Keep the warehouse, coolers, and freezers clean and organized
• 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience
• Prior high-reach forklift certification (we also certify in-house after hire)
• Experience operating order pickers
• Comfort working in the cooler (36°F) and freezer (-10°F)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Basic RF scanner skills and the ability to read documents in English
• Availability for extended hours and weekends as need
