Heavy Truck Technician

We are a successful Arizona based fuel transport trucking company with over 30 years in the industry. We have an opportunity for a qualified professional Heavy Truck Mechanic in our Tucson hub. This is a Mechanic Position in a small shop that is responsible for preventive maintenance services, repair services, testing and inspections, inventory control, roadside services, paperwork for internal and federal regulations, communications with dispatch and drivers to support fleet size of 8 Tractors & 9 Trailers. Job Summary: The successful candidate will have NO LESS THEN 5 years of verifiable experience as a Heavy Truck Mechanic. The successful candidate will be expected to perform essential duties independently 5 days per week under the supervision and daily communication with a remote manager. Essential duties include heavy truck repair and maintenance including but not limited to brakes; tires; electrical; engine overhead on Detroit and Cummins; AC; suspension; PM oil changes; possible roadside call outs; and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will perform all tasks with pride in being organized and productive and essential focus on safety, compliance and accuracy.
