Heavy Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Class 8 Truck Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy-duty trucks, ensuring peak performance and compliance with industry standards. Position: Class 8 Truck Mechanic Responsibilities: Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Class 8 trucks, including engines, transmissions, driveshafts, brakes, and electrical systems. Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles meet DOT and safety regulations. Maintain detailed work records and communicate repairs and recommendations to supervisors. Repair, replace, or adjust mechanical components to optimize vehicle reliability. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to prioritize and complete work efficiently. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Class 8 truck mechanic or in heavy-duty diesel truck repair. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, air brake systems, and electronic controls. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes. Must hold relevant certifications (ASE, CDL preferred). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
