Heavy Truck Mechanic

Truck Mechanic — Class 1 Fleet Perform light repairs to fleet (oil change, battery change…). No engines, or heavy mechanical work. Fastex Transport is looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team and keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety requirements Maintain accurate service and repair records Respond to occasional breakdowns and urgent repairs Monday–Friday schedule REQUIREMENTS Experience working on heavy trucks and trailers Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Valid Quebec mechanic certification/experience is an asset Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Work Location: In person
