Job Overview As a Heavy Haul Truck Driver, you’ll transport freight and heavy equipment safely and reliably, coordinating each move with colleagues and customers. The role combines commercial driving with careful load handling and attention to vehicle condition. Duties Operate heavy-haul trucks to transport freight and equipment, following safe driving practices and planned routes. Inspect vehicles, loads, and securing equipment before and during trips; report issues and support basic automotive repair as appropriate. Coordinate loading and unloading, using a forklift or other equipment when suitable and authorized. Communicate delivery updates and document trip details to support smooth handoffs. Your impact: dependable deliveries help customers keep their operations moving. Dedicated loads , pickup and dropoff at same location. Qualifications One year of experience is required.Practical commercial driving capability, safe handling of freight and heavy equipment, attention to vehicle and load condition, and clear communication are important for this work. Preferred: Experience with forklift operation and automotive repair, along with related freight or heavy-haul work, can support efficient loading, timely issue reporting, and reliable deliveries. Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: Thunder Bay, ON P7A 3Y1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person
