Wilmington PrecastJob Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Forklift Operator for Precast. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty forklifts and material handling equipment to efficiently load, unload, and transport goods within our facility. Your expertise will ensure safe, accurate, and timely movement of inventory, supporting seamless operations. Responsibilities Operate heavy forklifts to load and unload shipments with precision. Safely handle materials using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety standards. Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety compliance. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming/outgoing shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage. Follow procedures for heavy lifting tasks, ensuring safety protocols are strictly observed at all times. Qualifications Proven experience operating various types of warehouse material handling equipment forklift. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols. Ability to perform basic math calculations Demonstrated skills in manual handling and heavy lifting with a focus on safety. Prior experience in Precast Valid forklift certification or equivalent licensing is required; additional certifications such as Warehouse Supervisor experience or equipment repair knowledge are a plus.
