Heavy Equipment Transporter Class A CDL

We are seeking a motivated Heavy Equipment Transporter with a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment and freight across various routes, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. Your expertise in truck driving, logistics cargo handling, and equipment loading will be essential to our operations’ success. Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds and tankers to transport heavy equipment and freight across designated routes Load and unload equipment and freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring secure placement according to logistics cargo handling standards Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and proper functioning of all equipment Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and route details in accordance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with the team regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or safety concerns Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record and experience in commercial truck driving Proven experience in automobile transportation, freight delivery, or delivery driving roles Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including flatbed and tanker operations Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and safety protocols for over-the-road (OTR) routes Excellent manual handling skills for load & unload tasks in various environments Effective route planning skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for timely deliveries Pay: From $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 60.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Health savings account Paid orientation Paid sick time Paid time off Work Location: In person
