Heavy Equipment Shipper/Receiver (Yard Associate)

Adcock Equipment USA is expanding, and we're hiring a Yard Associate / Shipper & Receiver for our new location in Spring, Texas. We sell new and used aerial work platforms and telehandlers from leading brands, including JLG, Genie, Skyjack, SkyTrak, and MEC, serving customers throughout the United States and Canada. We're looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and willing to get their hands dirty. This is an entry-level position, so previous heavy equipment experience isn't required. Reliability, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn are what matter most. You'll work both outdoors in our equipment yard and inside our shop, helping keep equipment moving and our new location organized. What You'll Be Doing Shipping & Receiving: Assist with incoming and outgoing equipment, coordinate deliveries and pickups, and complete basic shipping documentation. Equipment Preparation: Wash and detail equipment, remove old decals, and prepare machines for sale and delivery. Yard Organization: Keep our equipment yard and shop clean, organized, and safe. Equipment Handling: Assist with moving, positioning, and loading equipment as training and experience permit. Customer Assistance: Help customers and transport drivers during equipment pickups and deliveries. General Shop Support: Assist our mechanics and other team members with day-to-day tasks as needed. What We're Looking For Dependability is a must. You need to show up on time, be ready to work, and have reliable transportation to and from our Spring location. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on different tasks throughout the day. Comfortable working outdoors in Texas weather and performing physical work. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to follow instructions, work independently when needed, and pay attention to detail. Previous experience with forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, or other heavy equipment is a plus, but not required. Basic mechanical knowledge or an interest in learning equipment maintenance is an asset. Spanish is beneficial but not required. No previous heavy equipment experience? No problem. We're willing to train the right person who takes pride in their work and wants to learn. Pay & Benefits $16–$23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Day shifts, Monday through Friday — no evenings or weekends. Biweekly pay. Boot allowance. Paid time off and paid holidays. Optional health plan coverage after the probationary period.
