Our fleet of 19 trucks keep construction and oilfield sites, businesses and four communities running. The job You'll be our in-house mechanic and run the shop. Our trucks are our business, and your job is to keep them on the road. Preventive maintenance, servicing and greasing on roll-off, front-load and vacuum trucks and trailers Diagnose and repair engines, drivetrains, air brakes, electrical and hydraulics Keep CVIP inspections current and trucks road-ready Triage driver defect reports each morning and tell dispatch which units are down Order and track parts and filters Decide when work goes to an outside shop and keep those repairs on budget Repair and weld equipment when trucks are caught up Log all work in our fleet maintenance app What you bring Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Truck and Transport Mechanic, or a senior apprentice close to tickets Experience on Class 8 trucks Hydraulics experience Electrical diagnosis Able to work independently and run your own day Valid BC driver's licence Nice to have Experience preparing trucks for CVIP inspections Welding and fabrication Experience with waste management equipment: roll-off hoists, front-load packers, vacuum trucks Class 1 or 3 with air brakes What we offer Competitive hourly wage and overtime, or a contract rate if you run your own business Tool allowance and benefits after probation for employees Company service truck, and your own shop to run To apply: apply through Indeed with your resume and tickets.
