Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic / Diesel Technician

Medley Truck Parts & Repair Ltd. is hiring an experienced Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic / Diesel Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial trucks. We are looking for a reliable, skilled mechanic with strong troubleshooting abilities who can work independently and deliver quality repairs. Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems. Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and after treatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR). Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and general repairs. Use diagnostic software such as JPRO, INSITE, DiagnosticLink, and Volvo Tech Tool. Identify mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently. Maintain accurate repair records and follow shop safety procedures. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of heavy-duty truck repair experience required. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and air brakes. Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently. Experience with Freightliner, Volvo, Mack, Kenworth, or International trucks preferred. Heavy Equipment Technician certification or apprenticeship is an asset. Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player. Pay: $18.00-$34.00 per hour Expected hours: 44.0 per week Benefits: On-site parking Work Location: In person
