Heavy duty truck and trailer mechanic

Heavy-Duty Mechanic – Full Time Northwind Transport Ltd. is looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy-Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks and trailers. Job Duties: Diagnose and repair trucks and trailers Perform preventive maintenance and regular inspections Repair brakes, suspension, steering and electrical systems Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems Perform oil changes, lubrication and general servicing Troubleshoot mechanical issues and breakdowns Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records Ensure all equipment is safe and ready for operation Requirements: Experience working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers Good knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes and hydraulic systems Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems Own basic mechanic tools preferred Valid driver's licence preferred Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently Heavy-Duty Mechanic certification is an asset Pay: $24.59-$43.29 per hour Work Location: In person
