Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic

We are a family business with grain farming, ranching, and trucking divisions. We strive to have a positive work environment that encourages employee growth and development. The successful candidate will receive competitive wages, comprehensive benefits after three months, and will be working at our shop located on Highway 42. Our ideal candidate · Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license. A 1A license is an asset. · Excellent mechanical aptitude. · Able to diagnose issues with all components on trucks and trailers. · Able to work independently and is efficient with their time. ·Reliable and the ability to take initiative is essential. · Perform routine maintenance of equipment. · Repair and adjust equipment and replace defective parts. · Perform pre-safety inspections prior to going to certified shop for safety. · Agriculture background is a large asset, as well as knowledge around tractor and combine maintenance, but not necessary. Must be able to speak English and permitted to work in Canada.
