Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator – Class A CDL Wilson Towing LLC | San Bernardino, CA Wilson Towing LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and safety-conscious driver who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and is comfortable handling a variety of heavy-duty towing and recovery assignments. Requirements & Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with applicable endorsements. Previous heavy-duty towing and recovery experience required. Must be experienced and proficient in operating both heavy-duty wreckers and Landoll trailers. Clean driving record. Clean criminal background with no convictions. Must be willing to work aflexible schedule, including on-call shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong understanding of proper loading, securing, towing, and recovery procedures. Ability to safely operate equipment and perform work in demanding roadside conditions. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills. Ability to maintain equipment and complete required paperwork accurately. Job Responsibilities Safely operate heavy-duty wreckers and Landoll trailers. Perform heavy-duty towing, transport, and recovery services. Properly secure and transport commercial trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and other vehicles. Respond promptly to dispatched calls, including emergency and after-hours assignments. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns. Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, law enforcement, and fellow operators. Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations. Work collaboratively with dispatch and other drivers to ensure efficient daily operations.
