Heavy Duty Parts Technician

Heavy Duty Parts Technician GST Logistics is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Parts Technician to join our growing team in Spruce Grove. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support parts identification, purchasing, and the day-to-day needs of our expanding parts department. The role may include both front counter and back counter responsibilities. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime. Key Responsibilities Identify parts for heavy-duty trucks and trailers Source parts from multiple vendors using online portals, email, and telephone Issue purchase orders for emergency parts requirements Support the internal mechanic team with parts requests Bill parts to work orders or sales invoices as required Help external customers find the parts they need Prepare quotes for internal and external customers Complete cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts Keep the warehouse organized Track cores and returns Qualifications At least two years of heavy-duty trailer parts experience Heavy-duty truck parts experience Experience with highway and off-road trailer parts Parts Journeyman ticket is an asset Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn in-house programs Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physically demanding duties Safety-conscious approach to work What We Offer Competitive starting wage Group benefits, including prescription drug coverage, dental, and vision Optional RRSP matching after one year Annual work boot allowance of up to $200 Tuition reimbursement Learning and on-the-job training opportunities A workplace where you can grow your career, not just find another job Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Required Experience Heavy-duty parts Parts department and warehouse operations GST Logistics thanks everyone who applies.
