Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic – Engine Inspection & Testing

Job Summary West Tennessee Truck Parts LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to inspect, test, and evaluate used semi-truck diesel engines at our facility in Union City, TN. The primary responsibility is to perform hands-on inspections and testing of diesel engines, including engines mounted on pallets. Candidates must be capable of properly setting up, cranking, and starting engines outside of a truck to evaluate their mechanical condition and determine whether they are suitable for resale. The ideal candidate has professional experience working with heavy-duty diesel engines, strong mechanical diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, PACCAR, and other commercial truck engines is highly preferred. This position is best suited for an experienced diesel mechanic who knows how to evaluate used engines, identify mechanical problems, and determine engine condition before resale.
