Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Job Description Maple Leaf Drilling is looking for a Mechanic with relative experience required in Diesel, Gas, and Hydraulics. We are searching for a team member that must have at least 2 years of Mechanical experience in Heavy Equipment or Certification equivalent.. All applicants must pass Drug Testing prior to hire and provide a Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Check. Qualifications This person will be responsible for Vehicle and Mechanical repairs and maintenance, with mostly Shop Work Field repairs to be done in mechanic truck. Additional $5.00/hr premium for work completed in the field. Candidate must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, there will be long days, and some weekends. Some overnight travel away from home maybe required. Must have own vehicle to get to work, no public transportation available. Class 1 or 3 with Air an asset First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHIMS), other Safety Courses would be an asset.
