We are looking for an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic who wants a stable, long-term career with a respected local company. The ideal candidate will: Have a minimum of six years’ heavy-duty diesel repair experience CDL and Maine State Inspection License are helpful but not required Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Be self-motivated and dependable Enjoy diagnosing problems and taking on challenging repairs Be comfortable performing some work outdoors Be committed to continued education, training clinics, weekly staff meetings, and staying current with industry developments Meet our insurance carrier’s driver eligibility requirements Our current schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but we’re open to discussing alternatives that better fit your needs. Options may include four 10-hour days, weekend hours in exchange for a weekday off, or another mutually agreeable schedule.
