Heavy Duty Bus Parts Advisor

Overview As a Heavy Duty Bus Parts Inventory Advisor you’ll help our service team find the right parts and accessories to keep Buses operating safely and reliably. You’ll combine mechanical knowledge and our technician's diagnosis to look up and source the correct parts needed for invoicing and stocking inventory. Advisor will be in charge of receiving ordered parts, billing and inventory management. Advisor will receive customer phone calls to purchase parts and accessories. Responsibilities Identify parts using knowledge of truck systems, bus maintenance, repair and recommend suitable options. Support bus parts sales and customer relationship building. Manage inventory control, stocking, order fulfillment, and bus parts management using point-of-sale (POS) and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) tools. Communicate with our repair technician's for parts needed and sourcing. Communicate with customers and suppliers in person and by phone, using professional phone etiquette and strong client communication. Requirements Customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing requests accurately. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance, automotive service, and automotive parts and accessories. Willingness to learn automotive parts purchasing and inventory management. Comfort with POS systems Bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcome. Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
