Morin Diesel LLCAbout Morin Diesel Morin Diesel is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The primary focus of this role is highway vehicles , with exposure to some off-road equipment and industrial use machines . If you’re a hands-on diesel technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics and quality repairs, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform service, diagnosis, and repair of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical issues including drivetrain, engine, hydraulic, and powertrain systems Assist with repairs on a mix of highway trucks/trailers and off-road/industrial equipment Conduct accurate inspections and complete documentation of work performed Maintain shop tools and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards Communicate with service advisors and teammates to keep jobs moving efficiently Preferred Qualifications (Plus) Diagnostic capabilities (hands-on troubleshooting; use of scan tools and diagnostic procedures) CDL is a plus Electrical troubleshooting experience or strong ability to diagnose electrical issues Aftertreatment system proficiency (e.g., DPF/DPF regeneration, SCR/DEF systems) Requirements Relevant experience as a diesel mechanic (heavy-duty preferred) Ability to read service manuals and follow diagnostic steps Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift and work safely around vehicles and equipment Reliable attendance and a team-first attitude Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Paid time off Work Location: In person
