Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background with experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance of heavy equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose and repair various types of vehicles. ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and fabrication tasks. Conduct inspections on vehicles and equipment to identify issues related to air brakes, hydraulics, suspension, alignment, and HVAC systems. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role with strong mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, transmission systems, brake repair, shocks & struts, assembly, and equipment repair. Experience working with schematics for electrical systems is preferred. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to provide customer service effectively.
