About the Role Cadets is seeking a highly organized, proactive Head of Warehouse Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Dallas warehouse and serve as a key link between inventory, production, e-commerce, wholesale and fulfillment. This is a hands-on role for someone who can keep the warehouse running smoothly while also maintaining a higher-level view of inventory movement and business needs. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing the warehouse team and troubleshooting a fulfillment issue as they are analyzing sell-through, preparing a wholesale order or participating in a production meeting. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Own day-to-day operations of the Dallas warehouse, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently and on schedule Manage warehouse staffing and scheduling, ensuring appropriate coverage based on order volume, launches, annual sale, and seasonal needs Establish and maintain organized, efficient warehouse systems and workflows Oversee inbound and outbound shipments and coordinate pickups, deliveries and freight as needed Anticipate operational needs and proactively troubleshoot issues before they impact the customer or broader team Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory across the warehouse and e-commerce systems Oversee receiving, counting, organization and reconciliation of incoming inventory Manage SKU creation and inventory setup for new products and collections Monitor inventory levels and stay closely connected to product sell-through Analyze sell-through and return rates to identify trends in top-selling and under-performing products, inventory needs and potential issues Flag low inventory, high returns, unexpected product performance and other meaningful trends to leadership Support inventory planning and provide the team with a clear, accurate picture of what is moving, what is not and where attention is needed Wholesale + Special Orders Prepare, organize and coordinate wholesale orders from inventory allocation through shipment Ensure wholesale partners receive complete, accurate and professionally prepared orders Coordinate special shipments, event inventory and other non-standard fulfillment needs Manage influencer, press, gifting and VIP orders with the appropriate level of care and urgency Production + Cross-Functional Coordination Participate in production calls and maintain visibility into upcoming deliveries, campaign launches and inventory timelines Coordinate closely with production, e-commerce, customer service, marketing and leadership to ensure warehouse operations are aligned with the broader business Prepare for incoming product and launches in advance, including staffing, warehouse organization, SKU setup and fulfillment planning Communicate inventory and operational updates clearly across the team The Ideal Candidate You are an owner of your work, not just an executor . You understand that strong warehouse operations impact nearly every part of the business—from the customer experience and wholesale relationships to marketing, product planning and profitability. You are highly organized, analytical and detail-oriented, but equally comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly. You know how to build structure, lead a team, communicate effectively across departments and with customers, and keep both the immediate workload and the bigger picture in view. Experience in apparel, fashion, retail, e-commerce or a similarly inventory-driven business is strongly preferred, with experience working with Shopify and/or inventory management systems.
