LaddersFor our client, we are seeking a Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Management to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This leader will shape procurement and supply chain strategy across critical operational categories, ensuring commercial decisions support business continuity, cost discipline, and risk management. The role will partner closely with operations, category teams, finance, and internal stakeholders to improve sourcing outcomes and strengthen execution. It is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who can balance strategic planning with hands-on contract, supplier, and inventory oversight. Location: Denver, CO - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $234,000 – $280,000 annually Responsibilities Develop multi-year category strategies aligned with operational goals Lead competitive sourcing events for key service and equipment categories Collaborate with category management to leverage group policies while meeting operational needs Negotiate master agreements and manage contracts, ensuring effective risk allocation Oversee the P2P process, enhancing accuracy and efficiency through technology Manage inventory strategies to balance costs and support operational timelines Implement technology solutions that streamline procurement and finance processes Qualifications 15+ years in procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles, including 10+ years in leadership Experience in US onshore oil and gas, particularly in drilling and midstream categories Proven track record of managing significant spend with measurable cost savings Strong background in contract negotiation and administration within operational settings Familiarity with P2P systems and internal controls is essential Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or CPSM preferred Benefits Access to health, vision, and dental insurance Flexible working schedule with a generous paid time off policy Discretionary annual bonus and long-term incentive programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
