A Snapshot of Your Day In this role, you will lead the Parts Demand & Inventory function for the Montreal Operations organization, ensuring the right materials, parts and inventory controls are in place to support production, Repair & Overhaul and customer commitments. Your day will involve working closely with production planning, engineering, supply chain, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate demand signals into actionable inventory and material plans. You will provide leadership across demand planning, inventory management, kitting, material readiness, warehousing, traffic and logistics, helping the business improve on-time delivery, reduce operational disruption, and protect customer commitments. How You’ll Make an Impact Lead the Parts Demand & Inventory function, including demand planning, inventory management, warehousing management, kitting management, traffic and logistics, network controlling, and material readiness. Translate business demand, load plans, and operational priorities into clear material plans that support production, repair & overhaul, and customer delivery commitments. Drive inventory strategy and control processes, including visibility of stock levels, replenishment needs, safety stock, reorder points, and actions required to prevent material shortages or excess inventory. Partner with Production Planning & Control, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to identify risks, align priorities, and resolve material constraints impacting shop throughput. Improve planning discipline and transactional integrity by ensuring demand signals, purchase requisitions, procurement actions, inventory movements, and warehouse activities remain aligned. Accountable to be the main interface between production operations and all SCM functions Lead component repair strategy and operational execution across product lines Develop team capability, standard work, performance transparency, and continuous improvement across the Parts Demand & Inventory organization. What You Bring Proven experience in supply chain, materials management, inventory planning, demand planning, warehousing, logistics, production planning, or a related operational leadership role. Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory segmentation, replenishment parameters, material availability, and the impact of parts shortages on production flow and customer commitments. Ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders in Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehousing, Engineering, Quality, and Finance. Data-driven mindset with the ability to use ERP, planning systems, inventory reports, and performance indicators to identify risks, make decisions, and drive corrective actions. Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching teams, setting priorities, creating accountability, and building a culture of collaboration, urgency, and continuous improvement. Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in materials management, inventory planning, production planning, or supply chain leadership will also be considered. About the Team The Parts Demand & Inventory team is a key part of Montreal Operations, enabling the business to deliver the correct parts at the correct time and place for planned and corrective manufacturing, repair, and overhaul activities. The team is responsible for demand planning, inventory management, kitting, traffic and logistics, network controlling, warehouse supervision, and material readiness. Working closely with Production Planning & Control, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Finance, the team helps protect customer commitments, improve on-time delivery, reduce disruption from material constraints, and support reliable execution across the shop.
