The Head of Commercial Operations, Americas leads the Commercial and Supply Chain Operations for the Americas country cluster, ensuring that sales order handling / order-to-cash, logistics, local warehousing, delivery to customers, import and export of shipments, and product availability are executed well and continuously improved across the region, driving high customer satisfaction through strong leadership of local teams and close alignment with Sales in each country. As a Head of Commercial Operations, Americas, you create chemistry by... Managing the Commercial Operations organization for the Americas cluster, ensuring adequate staffing and capacity planning to meet local and corporate needs. Leading and developing the team to ensure skills and motivation are aligned with company strategy and agreed performance levels, including setting and following up on goals. Leading the execution of sales order handling / order-to-cash, logistics and local warehousing, delivery to customers, and import/export of shipments across the countries in the cluster. Connecting and aligning with key stakeholders in Marketing & Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure upstream and downstream processes, systems, and people are well connected to Commercial Operations. Ensuring Commercial Operations Managers in each country are well connected to product availability information and can translate it into an availability plan at area/customer level. Driving communication of product availability and reporting any foreseen hiccups against forecast to enable timely plan adjustments. Providing regular status updates on realized and open orders and related risks to support monthly and yearly business steering. Measuring and monitoring performance across Order-to-Cash, Supply Planning, Warehousing & Logistics, Transport Management, Foreign Trade, and Sales Planning processes to drive continuous improvement. Leading continuous improvement initiatives, promoting process standardization, automation, and data-driven decision-making in alignment with global practices. Collaborating with Global Key-Users, Business Process Experts, M&S Excellence, and Digital/IT to align system functionalities, data standards, and process enhancements. If you... Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Business Economics, or a related field. Bring 5+ years of experience in a multinational or global organization within Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related function. Have 2+ years of people management experience, managing remote and international people leadership preferred Possess solid expertise in Order-to-Cash processes and/or Logistics & Warehousing operations. Are proficient in ERP systems (such as SAP S/4HANA) and have experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and process automation technologies. A…
