NOW HIRING — HEAD MECHANIC / CDL OPERATOR We’re looking for an experienced, motivated individual to join our team in a year-round split position. HEAD MECHANIC — CDL B MINIMUM, CDL A PREFERRED Oversee and maintain our fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and company vehicles Keep accurate records and stay ahead of preventative maintenance and repairs Welding and fabrication skills Strong knowledge of hydraulics Crusher experience is a plus Diagnose problems and keep equipment moving Help organize and direct crew members as needed with fleet maintenance and repairs SUMMER The position will be split between mechanical work and supporting our field crews, including: CDL driving Assisting with excavation and site work Supporting aggregate production and crushing operations Mechanicing and repairs as needed Helping wherever needed to keep crews, projects, and production moving WINTER During the winter, the position will focus heavily on fleet reconditioning, repairs, and preparation for the upcoming season. Lead the organization of crew members in reconditioning and repairing the fleet Plan and prioritize repairs and maintenance Perform mechanical, welding, hydraulic, and fabrication work Maintain trucks and equipment throughout the winter Plow snow on state highways Make sure equipment is ready to go when spring work begins We’re looking for someone who is mechanically strong, dependable, organized, and capable of taking the lead in the shop while also being willing to work in the field. This is a year-round position with a mix of mechanical, trucking, excavation, aggregate production, and winter highway work.
