Maverick TechAbout the Role As a Professional Hazmat Tanker Operator, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient transport of essential chemical products. You will leverage your expertise in hazardous materials handling and tractor-trailer operation to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of environmental safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Execute the loading, transport, and precise unloading of chemical products into customer storage systems. Manage complex hose connections and fluid transfer processes to ensure zero-spill operations. Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee fleet reliability and road safety. Maintain rigorous adherence to all federal, state, and local Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Document all transit and delivery activities accurately to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Engage in continuous safety training to uphold site-specific operating procedures and environmental stewardship goals. Qualifications Required Skills Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with active Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience. At least 1 year of specialized experience operating tanker equipment. Clean driving record maintained over the previous 3-year period. Current DOT medical certification and ability to meet physical fitness requirements for the role. Preferred Skills Demonstrated proficiency in handling specialized chemical transport equipment. Strong commitment to safety protocols and incident prevention. Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing and lifting up to 50 pounds. Experience with modern fleet technology and electronic logging systems.
