HazMat Tank Driver / Dock Worker
Parker Solvents Co., Inc.Overview Join our dynamic team as a HazMat Tank Driver / Dock Worker, where you will play a vital role in safety in safely transporting hazardous materials while ensuring smooth dock operations. You will also handle dock duties, including loading and unloading freight, managing hazardous goods, and supporting seamless delivery operations. Responsibilities Safely operate HazMat tankers and flatbeds following FMCSA & DOT regulations Navigate over-the-road (OTR) routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques and proper cargo securing methods for hazardous and non-hazardous goods. Conduct thorough inspections of trucks and cargo before departure and upon return to ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations and safety standards Maintain accurate documentation for all shipments, including logs for manual handling, freight manifests, and delivery records Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for HazMat, tanker, and hazardous materials transportation Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR), DOT rules, and safety protocols for dangerous goods handling Hands-on experience with truck loading/unloading processes including manual handling techniques for logistics cargo handling Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently in various driving conditions Mixing different chemical blend for our customers Interacting with customers Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
