Hardware Restocker

Gulfeagle Supply is a family owned business with over 100 locations nationwide which acquired Kimal Lumber in 2018. Since the merger, Gulfeagle and Kimal Lumber have been working to bring contractors superior service. Gulfeagle is a full line distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products while Kimal Lumber provides dimensional lumber, sheet goods, moldings, roof trusses, windows, and interior/exterior doors. As a company, we focus on servicing the professional contractor and builder while also providing a variety of products and services to the homeowner, building owner, architect and general contractor. This position exists in a part-time capacity to stock inventory items in the hardware store area, or perform miscellaneous tasks as needed by location management. Responsibilities: • Help customers and provide assistance when needed in order to help them find hardware store/showroom items • Restock inventory items as necessary, make sure items are organized and in proper location • Upkeep of all location showroom areas – inventory is organized, neat and orderly, trash removed, and areas free of clutter • Maintain daily maintenance of location showroom • Adhere to company safety rules and procedures • All other requests as assigned by supervisor or company management Skills Needed: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). • Be able to communicate clearly in English, also read and write in English • Have a basic knowledge of hardware products that Kimal sells Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and hear, get on and off forklift machinery in proper and same manner. • Regularly required to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally required to lift up to 100lbs. • Regularly required to use close vision, distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
