Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and maintain a welcoming atmosphere throughout their visit Assist customers with product information, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash register operations Handle cash handling duties including cash drawer management and basic math calculations for transactions Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product knowledge is up-to-date Provide exceptional phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or directing calls to appropriate departments Support inventory management through stock replenishment and product demos to showcase new or featured items Engage in bilingual communication when necessary to serve diverse customer needs effectively Experience Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in grocery or retail store environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in managing team tasks or training new staff Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transaction processing Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers and colleagues confidently Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations enhances performance Experience in upselling techniques and product demos to maximize sales opportunities Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse clientele effectively This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to deliver outstanding guest experiences while honing essential retail skills.
