About dandy We're dandy hair co., a locally owned, laid-back luxury hair salon in the heart of South Lamar. We're looking for a warm, organized, and proactive Guest Experience & Operations Coordinator to join our team! This is a hands-on front desk role that goes beyond traditional reception. You'll be the welcoming face of dandy hair co. while helping keep our salon organized, stocked, and running smoothly behind the scenes. What You'll Do Guest Experience: Welcome guests, manage check-ins and checkouts, and create a thoughtful, memorable salon experience. Scheduling & Communication: Answer calls, texts, and emails; manage appointments, waitlists, and guest follow-ups. Inventory Management: Oversee professional color, retail, backbar, and salon supplies, including inventory counts, ordering, receiving, and restocking. Daily Operations: Monitor the appointment schedule, anticipate salon needs, and help keep the day running smoothly. Team Support: Assist stylists, maintain an organized salon environment, and help with daily upkeep. Communication & Follow-Through: Proactively identify needs, resolve routine issues, and keep management informed. Projects & Events: Assist with salon promotions, events, and special projects as needed. Who We're Looking For Warm, personable, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently. Someone who takes ownership, follows through, and notices the little things. Comfortable multitasking in a busy, creative environment. Previous salon, spa, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Inventory management, ordering, or Vagaro experience is a plus! Schedule & Growth This position begins part-time at approximately 10–20 hours per week , with the potential to expand to 30–40 hours per week as salon needs evolve. While this is primarily a front desk and operations role, we're especially excited to meet candidates with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and an interest in growing into additional operational or leadership responsibilities.
