Position Summary FSM Group, LLC, an aviation fuel management company with operations across North America, has an immediate opening for an GSE Mechanic at our Boston airport location . The Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Mechanic performs maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections of ground support equipment to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Equipment serviced may include fuel carts, hydrant trucks, luggage tugs, deicing trucks, catering trucks, and other related equipment. Essential Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and routine repair services on ground support equipment Conduct inspections of fluid levels, coolant systems, brakes, tires, and other operational components Diagnoses and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Complete equipment repairs, refurbishments, and safety inspections in accordance with company procedures Maintain equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety standards Document maintenance activities and report equipment issues as needed Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs Benefits Amazing opportunities for promotions and career growth Full array of benefits to meet you and your family’s needs Extensive training Pay on Demand program Paid Time Off …and much more! Learn more at fsmgroup.us Requirements: Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record in accordance with company standards Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Ability to maintain reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as operational needs require Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and applicable background checks, including federal fingerprinting, in accordance with regulatory requirements Ability to access all areas of the airport necessary to perform job duties, including secured areas, in compliance with airport and federal regulations Ability to obtain and maintain any required government security clearance; employment is contingent upon successful completion of all applicable background checks and clearance requirements as determined by the contracting agency Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of mechanical experience in automotive, diesel, HVAC, refrigeration, or related fields General knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including engines, hydraulics, batteries, and diesel equipment Ability to provide and maintain a personal set of basic mechanic tools, including but not limited to wrenches, ratchets, socket sets…
