Duties Supervise daily store activities, including cashier operations, stocking, and customer interactions, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. Lead, train, and develop team members in customer service excellence, sales techniques, merchandising standards, and safety procedures. Oversee inventory management through purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales and minimize waste. Manage payroll, scheduling, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and record-keeping to ensure operational accuracy. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional displays to boost sales and enhance store visibility within the community. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with strong communication skills and phone etiquette. Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and interviews to build a motivated team aligned with store goals. Experience Proven supervising or managerial experience in retail sales or grocery store environments. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in team management, training & development, and conflict resolution. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for bookkeeping and pricing accuracy. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable. Experience with merchandising, marketing strategies, budgeting, and sales management is preferred. Knowledge of recruiting processes, payroll administration, inventory purchasing, and administrative responsibilities is advantageous.
