Responsibilities Lead and supervise the store team, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff to foster a high-performance environment. Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning of sales activities, inventory management, and customer service standards. Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing, stock replenishment, and stock control procedures to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement, pricing accuracy, and promotional displays that attract customers and boost sales. Handle all aspects of sales management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and store policies. Qualifications Proven management experience within the retail industry, specifically in grocery or similar store environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. .Excellent communication skills Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems. Experience with employee orientation, interviewing candidates Knowledge of retail math for pricing strategies, sales analysis, budgeting, and operational management. Supervising experience in retail sales teams with a focus on customer service excellence and operational efficiency.
