Grocery Stocker

Duties Stock shelves efficiently using RF scanners and other materials handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to ensure timely replenishment of products. Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and assisting with shipping & receiving processes. Handle produce, packaging, and retail store products with care, ensuring quality standards are maintained from delivery to display. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices to prevent injuries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor, including merchandising displays and product signage. Operate warehouse equipment safely during loading, unloading, and material handling activities. Communicate effectively with team members using organizational skills to coordinate stocking schedules and ensure smooth store operations. Assist customers with inquiries related to product location or store layout while providing excellent customer service. Support inventory management efforts through accurate data entry using RF scanners and inventory software systems. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly preferred; familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Basic math skills for counting stock, processing shipments, and managing inventory levels accurately. Knowledge of retail merchandising standards, produce handling, and product packaging is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper manual handling practices. Proven reliability in maintaining cleanliness, safety protocols, and operational procedures within warehouse or retail settings.
