Grocery Clerk

Duties Assist customers by providing excellent service, answering questions, and offering product recommendations in multiple languages if applicable Restock shelves efficiently by organizing merchandise, ensuring accurate pricing, and maintaining attractive displays through merchandising techniques Operate equipment such as forklifts safely to handle heavy or bulk items, adhering to all safety protocols Process transactions accurately at the cashier station, including handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with professionalism Maintain cleanliness of the store by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring aisles, checkout areas, and storage spaces are tidy and safe Conduct regular maintenance checks on store equipment and report any issues promptly to ensure continuous operation Support inventory management by organizing stockrooms, conducting stock counts, and assisting with receiving deliveries Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but training can be provided for qualified candidates Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members in bilingual environments if applicable Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, maintain displays, and keep the store orderly Willingness to perform cleaning duties and routine maintenance tasks to uphold store standards Capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods; physical stamina is essential for success in this role A positive attitude with a proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
