Responsibilities Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring cost-effective procurement aligned with company goals. Monitor inventory management data through spreadsheets and ERP platforms to forecast needs and prevent stock shortages or overstock situations. Support sourcing initiatives by identifying new suppliers, evaluating vendor performance, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Execute direct negotiation procurement strategies to secure the best prices while maintaining quality standards. Analyze Excel data for purchasing trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain efficiencies to inform decision-making. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities within accounting software and purchasing management systems. Skills Strong understanding of materials management, supply chain management, and inventory control principles. Experience with purchasing management systems that are technically supported within an organization’s infrastructure. Excellent vendor communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build lasting supplier relationships. Skilled in spreadsheet applications such as Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and direct negotiation procurement strategies. Familiarity with accounting software used in procurement processes and vendor relationship management.
