Position Summary We are seeking a reliable Grinder Operator & Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations. The primary focus of this role is operating industrial grinders to process plastic parts into regrind and supporting extrusion lines as a material handler. Responsibilities also include material handling, blending, forklift operation, and general production support as required. Key Responsibilities Grinder Operation Read and follow lot sheets and production instructions Safely operate grinders and process materials into regrind Sort, identify, and prepare the correct materials for each order Weigh, label, and store completed material Complete required production and inventory documentation Clean grinder equipment and surrounding work areas Perform basic equipment checks and follow LOTO procedures Material Handling & Production Support Retrieve and move materials using a forklift Verify material labels and ensure correct materials are supplied to production Return unused materials to designated storage locations Operate the blending station as required and follow lot sheet formulas Strap and store finished production Assist production lines and provide break coverage when needed Maintain clean and organized work areas Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Secondary School Diploma preferred Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or material handling experience preferred Forklift experience preferred Ability to read and follow lot sheets, labels, and production instructions Strong attention to detail Ability to follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures Reliable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks Ability to manually handle plastic parts, resin, and regrind Ability to work around industrial machinery, noise, and dust Pay: $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Extended health care On-site parking RRSP match Vision care Application question(s): Do you have your own reliable transportation?
