Summary: GrayWolf is seeking a Material Foreman that manages the receiving, storage, distribution, and logistics of materials on a construction site to ensure continuous workflow and minimal downtime. The role interacts heavily with Procurement department to ensure PO’s are tracked and recorded properly. Essential Functions Basic understanding of equipment on an industrial construction job site Assisting with handling materials, opening crates and inspection contents to ensure they meet quality standards Photograph and record contents of equipment and materials and record BOL and shipping details accordingly Draft Material Requisition Request and maintain inventory of items needed for installation Collaborate with Procurement on items needed and communicate with site leadership on any delays in deliverables Lead, train and schedule a crew of material handlers or laborers Enforce OSHA and site safety standard for material handling and heavy equipment operation Ensure movement of materials and equipment are done safely and proper rigging techniques are used Operate forklift to move materials Participation safety program, attending safety meetings and other related activities as required. Must be able to work variable hours as needed including weekends and holidays. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 3.-5 years of warehousing, logistics, or construction supply management Ability to read blueprints, interpret work plans and use inventory tracking software Forklift certification and experience operating heavy machinery (loaders, pallet jacks, etc.) preferred OSHA 10/30 preferred but not required Desired Skills or Knowledge Ability to coordinate and facilitate work across a broad range of personnel, supervision, craft, engineers and project managers. Must be collaborative and able to openly engage with colleagues to achieve project goals. Must be very well-organized and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high rate of accuracy. Must be flexible with day-to-day duties and able to thrive in a dynamic environment. Experience in O365 – Sharepoint, Teams, Excel Physical/Site Requirements: Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds. Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age. Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions. Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required.
