Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Granite Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw stone materials into high-quality, finished granite products that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in fabrication techniques, safety standards, and use of hand and power tools will ensure the production of beautiful, durable surfaces for a variety of applications. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately cut and shape granite materials. Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and machining equipment safely and efficiently for material handling and fabrication tasks. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to cut, polish, finish, and assemble granite slabs and countertops. Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure accurate fabrication according to project requirements. Follow all safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use such as respiratory protection, eye protection, gloves, and hearing protection. Handle materials carefully during transportation within the warehouse or fabrication area to prevent damage or injury. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly while adhering to safety standards in production. Skills Proven experience with fabrication processes involving stone or similar materials in manufacturing or construction settings. Strong mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery, power tools, and hand tools used in stone fabrication. Ability to perform precise dimensional measurements and follow blueprint specifications accurately. Familiarity with safety regulations including PPE adherence, heavy lifting techniques, and proper materials handling procedures. Basic math skills for calculating measurements, material quantities, and layout planning. Experience with stone finishing techniques such as polishing and surface smoothing to achieve high-quality results. Warehouse or millwork experience is a plus for understanding inventory management and material storage practices. Join our team where craftsmanship meets innovation!
