Essential Duties and Responsibilities

\tProvide a positive attitude, image, and safe culture to customers and peers through exceptional and courteous customer service.
\tFollow the safety guidelines and safety programs established by CPI.
\tIs punctual, engaged, and willing to learn.
\tPromote and support CPI’s grain, energy, feed and agronomy programs. Work with various departments to gain an overall knowledge of company operations and processes. Gain a better understanding of the coop.
\tGain knowledge in the following:
\t
\t\tBuying and selling of commodities.
\t\tDaily analysis of local, national, and global markets.
\t\tTransportation and logistics (Rail and Fleet).
\t\tRelationship building with customers.
\t
\t
\tCompletes a variety of assignments related to day-to-day operations and processes. Perform projects as assigned under the direction of qualified staff.
\tAbility to multi-task and capability to excel in both team and self-directed settings.
Skills and Specifications
\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
\tWorking knowledge of business computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet software, and CPI internal software).
\tExceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
\tAbility to read, write, and speak English.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Qualifications
Candidate must be pursuing a degree in business management, ag business, or a related field and have completed their sophomore or junior year of academic courses from a university/college OR completed their freshman year of academic courses from a community or trade college. Candidate must be in good academic standing.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Required: Valid Driver's License.
Physical Requirements
\tProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
\tMay be required to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
