Job Summary Good Vibes Transportation is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Transportation Operations Specialist to coordinate and support daily transportation activities. The successful candidate will help manage transportation schedules, coordinate drivers, monitor service operations, maintain accurate records, and assist with resolving scheduling and customer service issues. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to safe and reliable transportation services. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily transportation schedules, routes, and service assignments. Support dispatch operations and communicate assignments to drivers. Monitor scheduled trips and track transportation service progress. Communicate with customers, drivers, and team members about pickup times and schedule changes. Assist with managing vehicle availability and transportation resources. Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage reports, and operational records. Identify scheduling conflicts, delays, and service disruptions and report them appropriately. Coordinate vehicle maintenance requests and report operational concerns. Respond to customer inquiries and assist with resolving routine service issues. Prepare transportation reports and organize administrative documentation. Help improve scheduling procedures and daily operational workflows. Follow company policies and applicable transportation safety requirements. Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in transportation operations, logistics, dispatch, or fleet coordination is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling or dispatch systems. Good problem-solving and time-management abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude. Commitment to customer satisfaction and transportation safety. Work Environment This position may involve working in an office, dispatch center, or transportation operations facility. Regular communication with drivers, customers, and management personnel is expected. Flexibility may be required to accommodate changing schedules and daily transportation needs.
