General Manager / Inventory Manager King of Budz – Grand Rapids, MI Job Type: Full-Time | Management Pay: Competitive salary based on experience About King of Budz King of Budz is a growing leader in Michigan's cannabis retail industry. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized General Manager / Inventory Manager to lead our Grand Rapids location. Position Overview This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily dispensary operations, managing employees, driving sales, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with Michigan cannabis regulations. We need someone who takes ownership of their store, leads by example, and consistently holds themselves and their team to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Store Leadership & Operations Oversee all daily store operations. Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees. Drive sales performance and achieve company goals. Maintain excellent customer service standards. Manage scheduling, labor costs, and employee performance. Conduct regular store meetings and employee development. Build a strong management team capable of operating independently. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment. Inventory Management Oversee inventory receiving, transfers, audits, and reconciliation. Maintain accurate inventory records through METRC and company systems. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Prevent inventory shrinkage, loss, and compliance violations. Ensure accurate product labeling, tracking, and storage. Perform regular inventory counts and audits. Coordinate with regional inventory leadership. Maintain compliance with Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency requirements. Business Performance Monitor sales, inventory, labor, and operational KPIs. Identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability. Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed. Communicate effectively with regional and corporate leadership. Qualifications Previous retail management experience required. Cannabis dispensary management experience strongly preferred. Inventory management and auditing experience required. METRC experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must meet Michigan's applicable cannabis industry employment requirements.
