Global Trade Manager
AptivRole Summary The US Global Trade Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing the compliant and efficient execution of US import, export, and post-entry activities across all modes of transportation. This role ensures that Aptiv's global trade operations are conducted in full compliance with all applicable import and export regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, while supporting business continuity and operational excellence. The position reports directly to the Americas Global Trade Services Lead Your Role Direct oversight and efficient execution of US import, export, and post-entry activities Primary contact with central areas of Corporate Trade, Legal, Logistics, IT, & Business Units. Customs Broker Management Provide support in all internal or external audits Responsible for providing financial reporting of customs and broker expenses by Plant/Business Unit. KPI gathering and management (Internal, External Brokers) General knowledge of Foreign Trade Policies In-depth knowledge of US Customs Processes/Regulations, US Imports, Exports & Post Entry Resolve shipment data insufficiencies for US Imports & Exports US Post Entry Corrections & Data Retention Perform Duty Rate Analysis PGA Reporting FDA Annual Reporting Entry Data Analysis & Auditing ISA Testing Surety Bond Management AD/CVD Qualification 301 Exclusion Qualification Experience in reconciliation Programs Experience with Drawback Program ACE Portal management Your Background: Top-tier global trade experience, including with a Brokerage firm and/or multinational company 10+ years of relevant professional experience Higher education in Business, Logistics, or Financial background Experience in HTS and ECCN classification assignment preferred US Broker License preferred Technology and/or automotive industry experience is desirable Prior people management experience is desirable Experience with SAP GTS preferred English fluency required, multiple language skills desirable Your Benefits: Private health care effective day 1 of employment Life and accident insurance Paid Time Off (Holidays, Vacation and Parental leave) Relocation assistance may be available Learning and development opportunities Discount programs with various manufacturers and retailers Recognition for innovation and excellence Opportunities to give back to the community Tuition Reimbursement You grow at Aptiv.
