Global Sourcing Assistant
USA LegwearThe Global Sourcing Assistant supports the end-to-end product lifecycle from proto development through bulk production. This role ensures timely sample tracking, vendor communication, and cross-functional coordination across Design, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Compliance/QA, Planning and Brand Management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities: Coordinate proto, PP, PP PKG SET, and TOP sample requests, tracking, sorting, and distribution. Manage sample packages and daily sample shipments to vendors and internal teams. Track sample status and update Airtable trackers. Review samples, packaging, and trims; communicate feedback from different teams and escalate issues as needed. Support UPC, RFID, carton marking, and customer sticker approvals. Prepare samples and information for cross-functional reviews and escalate issues as needed. Create and send development/sample requests and follow up with vendors on status and timelines. Share product details, packaging guides, and updated requirements with vendors using PLM, Airtable, and email. Communicate cross-functional feedback and coordinate vendor follow-up. Support vendor onboarding and system setup. Review labels and packaging details for new orders. Maintain accurate product, vendor, and PO information across PLM, SAP, Airtable, and other systems. Maintain WIP tracking and support PO/order updates. Track pre-production and final samples to make sure everything stays on schedule. Attend weekly and cross-functional meetings and provide updates on samples, orders, and vendor issues. Work with Design, Marketing, Logistics, Compliance/QA, Brand Management, Planning, and Sales to keep things moving smoothly. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Self-starter, deadline driven, and highly organized. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability. Great communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven mindset. A proactive attitude and a team-first mindset. Take ownership and follow through without constant direction. Proficient in systems. Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook needed. PLM & SAP preferred. Must be available to work on-site 3-4 days per week. Annual salary range starting at $50,000+ The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package.
