In this role, you'll transform complex transportation, distribution, and financial data into meaningful insights that influence cost, service, capacity, and operational performance.Working across Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and other global partners, you'll develop analytics, forecasts, dashboards, and business cases that help leaders understand what's happening, why it's happening, and where the greatest opportunities exist.Analyze global logistics spend and performance across transportation, distribution centers, 3PLs, parcel, ocean freight, over-the-road (OTR), intermodal, and other logistics activitiesGather, validate, and analyze data from SAP ERP and other internal and external systems to create reliable business insightsDevelop cost, trend, variance, benchmarking, forecasting, budgeting, and network analyses to uncover risks and improvement opportunitiesDefine, monitor, and report key logistics KPIs across cost, service, capacity, transportation, and distribution center performanceBuild and maintain analytical models, dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports that provide greater visibility into global logistics performanceTranslate complex datasets into clear insights, recommendations, and executive-ready presentationsIdentify cost-saving and service-improvement opportunities and help quantify their potential business impactSupport logistics forecasting and budgeting by analyzing historical trends, business demand, transportation costs, and operational requirementsProvide analytical support for strategic sourcing initiatives, carrier and 3PL evaluations, service-level planning, and contract decisionsSupport logistics network optimization and continuous improvement initiatives across Pelican's global operationsPartner with Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT, Customer Service, and external providers to solve business challengesDevelop business cases and scenario analyses that help leadership evaluate strategic logistics decisions and investmentsPerform additional duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Operations, or a related field.3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, distribution, financial analysis, business analytics, or a related field.Experience analyzing transportation, distribution, logistics, supply chain, or operational costs.Strong proficiency with large data sets, analytical modeling, Microsoft Excel, and enterprise systems such as SAP ERP.Experience with BI, visualization, SQL, TMS, WMS, or supply chain technology platforms preferred.Strong analytical, communica…
