Gin Truck Driver
Red Rider Services LLCRed Rider Services is seeking experienced dedicated CDL Gin Truck Driver. You must be a dependable and organized gin truck driver , who possesses a great deal of physical and mental stamina, thrives on working long hours on the road, and can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries. Must be detailed- oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record. You must be able to operate a Gin Truck and have at least 4 years of experience. Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid truck driving license Benefit Conditions: Waiting period may apply Only full-time employees eligible COVID-19 Precaution(s): Personal protective equipment provided or required Social distancing guidelines in place This Job Is: A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma Trucking freight handling: Secure freight by hand Type of Freight: Flatbed Other/Specialized Trucking route: Local Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid orientation Paid time off Paid training Referral program Safety equipment provided Vision insurance Experience: Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CDL Class A (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 100% (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple locations
