General Warehouse Worker/ Assembler

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including order picking, loading, unloading, doing light assembly of lifting straps/chain, slings etc. (must be able to lift 50lbs). This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and safety protocols to ensure smooth and safe operations within a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with warehouse management systems and heavy equipment operation is highly valued, Valid forklift certification (preferred). The Warehouse Worker will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting shipping and receiving functions. All training will be provided, group health and dental benefits after 4 months. Opportunity for wage increases based on strong work performance. Responsibilities Perform order picking accurately using warehouse management systems and manual methods Load and unload shipments. Operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts. Manage shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency Experience Previous experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse management system operation preferred Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklift. Familiarity with warehouse experience in construction or industrial settings is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Prior experience operating heavy equipment like forklifts is advantageous Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse management This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
