You’ll handle incoming electronics, work with English and Spanish speaking customers, and test, repair, and prepare devices for resale or recycling. It’s a great entry point into IT, even without formal experience or education in the field. Just tell us about your skills and what you bring to the table. What You’ll Do Warehouse and customers Unload electronics from cars and trucks, including large TVs Assist customers in English and Spanish with drop-offs, and collect accurate recycling information for TVs, monitors, and display screens Sort and classify devices for testing, reuse, resale, or recycling Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided), and occasionally grinders and shredders Keep the warehouse clean, labeled, and safe Testing and resale Test and troubleshoot computers from different eras, plus audio and video equipment Disassemble PCs with power and hand tools, and do basic laptop troubleshooting and refurbishing Install operating systems and identify resale items using a smartphone app Meet daily quotas for listing items on eBay Help customers choose the right system for their needs Data security Follow all procedures exactly for data security. What We’re Looking For Fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems (or a strong desire to learn) Good communication and people skills, and the ability to work well on a team Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs Comfortable using smartphone apps Safety-conscious and willing to learn new technologies and processes High school diploma or equivalent Forklift or electronics recycling experience is a plus What We Offer Hands-on training on equipment and processes Experience in a growing, sustainability-focused industry A supportive and inclusive team Health and dental insurance Paid time off Employee discounts Schedule and Location Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends In person at 17635 Arrow Blvd, Fontana, CA 92335 Join us and make a real difference in electronics recycling.
