General Warehouse I

Title: General Warehouse I
Classification:  Hourly / Non-Exempt

Our warehouse workers are essential to the success of our distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within a warehouse setting. These tasks may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. You will also keep track of the location of products within the warehouse and reporting any discrepancies. Additionally, general warehouse worker may also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the warehouse area, as well as operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. They work with team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

What You Will Do

1. Unload and load trucks

2. Unload and load trucks 

3. Sort, count, inspect and receive inbound orders 

4. Select and palletize outbound orders 

5. Accurately stock product in proper locations 

6. Complete assigned inventory cycle counts

7. Accurately complete shipping/receiving log for all inbound and outbound shipments 

8. Warehouse maintenance and housekeeping

What You Will Need

· A team player mindset, the ability to multi-task and have a great attitude

· Pass a pre-employment physical & drug screen

· A high school diploma or equivalent

· The ability to operate powered & non-powered material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklift, carts & dollies

· Ability to read and write English

· Ability to repetitively lift products up to 5 ft on a daily basis

· Ability carry objects up to 80lbs up to 15 ft across warehouse

· Must be able to work on a moving, man-powered lift truck at a height of up to 20 feet while stocking and removing cases weighing up to 30lbs

· Must be able to climb ladders on a ladder truck

At least one year of warehouse experience is preferred. While certification for operating a forklift is not required, it is preferred. Training & certification can be provided for operating forklifts.  Please check the attached job description for more details.
